🇺🇸 Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US Sends a Strong Message
Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States, said that India’s attack lacked evidence and reflected “lawless behavior.” He stated this while speaking to multiple American TV channels.
“Pakistan took strong defensive action. Our army will give a decisive response in line with national interest,” he said.
He also stressed that Pakistan reserves the right to act under Article 51 of the UN Charter, which allows self-defense against aggression.
Rizwan Saeed added that Pakistan seeks peace, but it will not compromise its sovereignty. He called for a transparent investigation into the Pahalgam incident and said the international community welcomed Pakistan’s offer.

Dr. Faisal, Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, echoed the same firm stance. Speaking to British media, he said:
“There is no doubt—Pakistan will respond to India’s attack. Peace is our priority, but not at the cost of our dignity.”
Dr. Faisal criticized India for refusing an international investigation into the Pahalgam attack and for launching missiles into Pakistan soon after. He noted that India’s actions, including terminating the Indus Water Treaty and SAARC cooperation, were clear violations of international law.

The tension escalated after a tragic incident on April 22, 2025, in Pahalgam, where tourists were killed. Despite a lack of proof, India blamed Pakistan and carried out an attack on Pakistani cities during the night of May 6–7.
In response, Pakistan’s armed forces shot down five Indian jets, including three Rafales, and destroyed multiple Indian military positions, including a brigade headquarters near the Line of Control (LoC). Following this, the Indian army raised a white flag at the Chora Complex, signaling defeat.
