đŁď¸ Pakistan’s Response Forced India to Ceasefire: Bilawal
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stated that Pakistanâs strong military response led India to agree to a ceasefire. According to him, Pakistan’s actionâespecially shooting down Indian planesâwas a turning point in the recent conflict.
In a statement quoted by Dawn News, he hailed the ceasefire as a major success and saluted the people, armed forces, and air force of Pakistan.
âď¸ Defensive to Offensive: How Events Unfolded
Bilawal explained that for the first three days, Pakistan only defended itself. It was only after India launched a missile attack that Pakistan responded with retaliatory action.
âWe showed the world that we know how to defend and respond,â he said.
He emphasized that the United States did not support India’s accusations of terrorism, which weakened Indiaâs diplomatic position and led it to agree to talks under a ceasefire.
đ¤ A Call for Sincere Dialogue
Bilawal Bhutto stressed the importance of Indiaâs intentions in the upcoming dialogue:
âIf India talks with clear intentions, it will be the beginning of a new era.â
He criticized Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying his leadership has promoted extremism. According to Bilawal, Modi has been exposed both at home and globally.
âŽď¸ Message of Peace
Concluding his statement, the PPP Chairman said:
âWe must tell India that war is not in the interest of either country.â
He urged both sides to act responsibly and pursue a peaceful resolution to ongoing tensions.
