According to a notification from the Indian Ministry of Civil Aviation, 32 airports in northern and western India have been temporarily closed until May 14, amid escalating regional tensions.
The Airports Authority of India (AAI) and concerned aviation bodies have issued flight advisories confirming that all civil flight activities at these airports will remain suspended during this period.

Udhampur, Ambala, Amritsar, Awantipora, Bathinda, Bhuj, Bikaner, Chandigarh, Halwara, Hindan, Jaisalmer, Jammu, Jamnagar, Jodhpur, Kandla, Kangra (Gaggal), Keshod, Kishangarh, KulluāManali (Bhuntar), Leh, Ludhiana, Mundra, Naliya, Pathankot, Patiala, Porbandar, Rajkot (Hirasar), Sarsawa, Shimla, Srinagar, Thoise, and Uttarlai.

Flight operators and airlines have been instructed to plan alternative routes based on the current air traffic advisory. The temporary closures are being coordinated with air traffic control (ATC) units to ensure passenger safety and minimize disruption.
